Eight organ transplant recipients represented New Zealand at the 20th World Transplant Games held in Mar del Plata, Argentina recently.
The team consisted of three heart recipients, three kidney recipients, one lung recipient and one bone marrow recipient. Four family members also went to Mar del Plata as supporters.
The NZ Transplant Games Association is grateful for a grant received from Infinity Foundation that assisted members in meeting the costs to attend the Games.
